The 2023 Kia Sportage will be equipped with a 187-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. In comparison, the 2022 Kia Sportage is offered with two powertrain options. The lower trims come with a 181-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.4-liter engine, while the top trim is outfitted with a 240-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine. The interior of the 2023 Kia Sportage has the most notable change is the new digital display screen that combines the driver's gauges with the central infotainment system. This makes for a cleaner and more streamlined look that should help keep drivers more focused on the road.
