Kia has some big changes in store for the 2019 Kia Sorento. The popular SUV is back with a number of upgrades both inside and out.

New for 2019, all trim levels of the Sorento (L, LX, EX, SX and SXL) now feature three rows and seating for seven passengers. The second row features 40/20/40 folding seats and the third row features 50/50 folding seats. Additionally, the new interior offers available Nappa leather upholstery, 14-way power driver and 8-way power passenger seats. The spacious cabin features 73 cubic feet of maximum cargo volume and a new rear liftgate.

Also new for 2019 is an updated AVN 5.0 navigation system with Android Autoâ„¢ and Apple CarPlayâ„¢ compatibility, available QuantumLogicâ„¢ Surround Sound technology and so much more.

2019 Kia Sorento Specs and Features

The 2019 Kia Sorento offers California drivers two impressive efficient and powerful engine options: a 185-hp, 2.4-liter I-4 engine and a 290-hp, 3.3-liter V6 engine. The new V6 engine is fitted with a new eight-speed automatic transmission and offers a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds.

In addition to performance, the 2019 Sorento offers drivers a host of available safety features from the Kia suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, including:

  • Rear Cross Traffic Collision Warning
