2019 4th of July Celebrate Concord Parade and Festival

Stars & Stripes July 4th 5K

The first event that kicks of the celebration is the Stars & Stripes July 4th 5k. This is the 10th year of the annual 5K Run/Walk and includes a free Kids Fun Run prior to the start of the 5K. Those of you who are interested in participating in this event should register for the event online today! Festivities begin at 6:30 AM with the 5K starting at 8:15 AM.

Independence Day Parade

The Independence Day Parade follows the Stars & Stripes July 4th 5K at 10:00 AM. The theme for this year’s parade is “All that Jazz.” If you would like to enter the parade this year, make sure to fill out the entry form online as soon as possible. Judges will select their winners, who will be announced by the Concord City Council at a future council meeting.

6th Annual 4th of July Festival & Fireworks

The celebration will finish off with a bang this year at the 6th Annual 4th of July Festival & Fireworks. This event will feature a kid’s carnival, food vendors, and live music from the Air Force Band and The Big Jangle – A Tribute to Tom Petty and All Things Jangly.
