NBA All-Star Weekend is one of our favorite weekends of the year. This year, the Kia NBA All-Star Weekend will feature the first matchup between two captains (LeBron James and Steph Curry) instead of the traditional East versus West matchup. Kia is known for some pretty memorable commercials. The Kia Soul, itself, is responsible for a handful of commercial adventures featuring the iconic hamster. These commercials have also historically featured some of the biggest music hits of the year, including “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO in 2011, “Gangnam Style” by Psy in 2012, and “Animals” by Maroon 5 in 2014. The new turbocharged 2017 Kia Soul commercial features another great party anthem, but this one has a little bit more of an edge than previous commercials. Perhaps it’s because of the power of the new turbocharged 1.6-liter engine in the 2017 Kia Soul Exclaim (!).
