2018 Kia Niro PHEV Specs and Features
The 2018 Kia Niro PHEV is available in three trim levels: LX, EX and EX Premium. Each trim level features a unique set of standard and available features, including available leather seating, Harman/Kardon Premium Sound System and more!
Under the hood of the 2018 Kia Niro PHEV, you’ll find a 104-hp, 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine with a Full Parallel Hybrid System that features a 60-hp, AC Synchronous Permanent Magnet Motor and a 360V Lithium-Ion Polymer battery. Unlike other plug-in hybrids, the Niro PHEV features a Dual Clutch 6-Speed Automatic with Sportmatic®.
The 2018 Kia Niro PHEV offers an EPA-estimated 48 city and 44 highway miles per hour and an EPA-estimated MPGe of 110 city and 99 highway.
Drivers can expect an estimated All-Electric Range (AER) of 26 miles. The battery of the Niro PHEV can be charged using a Level 1 (120V) charger or a Level 2 (240V) charger. With Kia’s UVO eco App, you can monitor and schedule charging and more!
